Oh, you have hit me right where it takes. I took to marketing profession despite having options of going to government job with many more facilities. I am in traveling for last few decades with my cameras ever ready.

thats a great way of living - see the world and earn :cheer: there is no experience like travelling on the spur of the moment We have done it a couple of times and it is great fun...

Yes i have done lots of traveling on my own as well, I mean not with company's expenses. I have even traveled on foot for hours along alone in the hills during my visits. I would walk for hours on the hilly roads while there were no buses available after evening hours. I have seen almost every hill station in India including Kurag. I mentioned Kurag with a special purpose and you know why!

That is the ultimate enjoyment and also healthy living :) Call me dense but I cannot connect anything with Kurag, just know that it is in Kashmir or thereabouts..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Are you trying to pull my leg? I only misspelled it it should be Coorg. Sorry.

LOL, OK got it, it is just about 130 kms from Mangalore and at times we take the round about route through Coorg and mysore while driving to Bangalore since it is a lovely drive...You must have climbed up the Brahmagiri range in western ghats there ...

The way the women wore their sari there was so fascinating, the height from see level was not much but the place was beautiful. I saw a shooting of a film there. Yes I walked all on foot since the place was not so big, or I was not there for long enough.

That is the basic advantage of a traveler, he finds so many different things that he can not find otherwise.

Yes I know as I have seen most places in that area, I had been to Mangalore long back, I remember I went to Calicut from there now they call it Kozikode. Actually this is all in one straight line from Mangalore to Trivendrum. All along the coast.

Yes thats right ! Mangalore borders the state of Kerala and one can find lot of Malayalees in Mangalore. There is a lot of shared influence on either side and Mangalorean food too has a lot of Kerala influence in it.
BTW, what did you think of Kodavas, they are originally of Greek descent and known for their good looks..
