I never lie to my employee about my salary. I hope its not necessary to lie about our salary to others in a company.
Not necessary but i think we should when we go for an interview as that way we may get more hike in salary. :)

Excatly when someone has the skills which they think is worth of what the person is demanding they never think of verification but when they things are opposite they definitely ask for some salary proof and all. :)

So there is no need to hide the reality. But ask what one thinks he deserves for.

But sometime company show some cleverness and try to fix salary of a person below what he/she deserves just to cut cost. :evil:
