Hey Usha your photo snap is too good. I would love to visit Leh. It is paradise.

we have so very many hill stations in India and it would take a life time to cover all of them ...Each region and its flora and fauna are totally different , so much so that it is like travelling to a different country altogether , since we have varied culture and even people look different..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I think, everyone votes for Shimla and Kashmir. I haven't gone there.
I really love Munnar and its tea plantations....afterall, where else can we see flowers blossoming once in a Jupiter year?

Taj Mahal is the best and beautiful hill station in India. As it is every one like it because of its beauty

Taj Mahal is a monument in Agra, which is plains and not hill station. Hill stations are Mussurie, Darjeeling, Ooty, Srinagar (J & K).

Kothagiri is the best hill station which is located in Tamilnadu. Unfortunately most of us don't know this. Hence we miss this place.

Am also hearing it for the first time Robert, though I am residing just near to your state.
Kothagiri....which district?
Also, I know only about Ooty and Kodaikanal. Is Kodambakkam of Chennai a hill station or tourist site?

I think they are all beautiful, Kothagiri,Ooty and koonoor...However ooty has become very commercialised now and is filled to capacity with tourists during season..

I will prefer Andaman and Nicober Island where we can see hill, sea and plane altogether.

Port Blair in Andamans is a lovely place but there is no hill resorts as such there, although there are small mountains and hillocks there, the main attraction is the beautiful beaches and water sports..

I don't know whether we can find any hills in Andaman. But I'm sure it is one among the best islands in the world.

Born to express, not to impress.

True they are the best islands, but I think the thread is about hillstations, so please stick to the topic!
