May be your place is somewhat open and green so may be feeling need of blanket at night but we are not using sweaters and blankets these days. :)
Well, here is not the same case.. Here fan is already on in full speed. And its still increasing.
I know your place is never that cold or hot as our place. BTW how do you increase full speed? Do you give extra voltage to your fan to increase its RPM.

Yes although not too far but we are atleast 4-5 degree colder than your place especially during nights and mornings.
