Marriage without dowry

    Though it is against the law to ask dowry from girl's parents though people take it lightly and demands in some other way. People these days don't ask for hard cash though they demand for a 4 wheeler or anything else which they like. Recently one of my neighbor's daughter got married who spent around 20 Lacs in the marriage and most of the money he spent in Gold jwellery and I10 car but still the girl is not happy at her in laws house and she never get affection from her in laws.I really wonder after giving so much of dowry her in laws still want them to give more money though they never demanded it. : :blink:


    That's is problem sir. No much how much one gives ,they will never be satisfied and one can never gurantee the behaviour and its true they ask it one way or the other . They won't ask directly then they will say that give something to relatives. One way or the other our society double standards will keep coming out no matter how much true they try to sound...

    Dowry is a disease of society ,It's feelings are twice. In case of son's marriage we demand but in the time of daughter we oppose.
    We should oppose in both case. We will not take and give.

    Yes this is true people oppose when they have to give dowry but they them self ask for it in their son's marriage.This is shameful to see people double standard. :evil:
