These days every place in North India is bearing hot waves and its more irrittaing that government is not able to provide electricity to the consumers as per their demand. :evil: Recently it was declared that in UP shops and other commercial areas will remain closed till 7:00 PM and will open after 11:00 AM in the morning so that the electricity saved from this can be compensated for domestic region but on the next day only it was cancelled. :laugh: Don't you think these politicians take decisions so early and take back after they get opposed for it. :dry: :blink:

Here the standard cut is 4 hours but in practical this is 6-8 hours. We survive on captive power.


This is irritating i know in other parts of UP its more than 8 hours but still people live with these power cuts. :evil:

No In Etawah and Phulpur/Sultanpur- this is 24 hours nor disrupted power supply. These places are also in UP.

May be there people get violent. I was in UP yesterday and now the power was OK there i asked it way they said that the mob did Lathi charge on the people of electricity board in their office yesterday so its OK today. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

As rains start in our state power cut stopped for a week now again they have started but there is no meaning in this as there is no reason to have power cut

That is why we keep an inverter and generator ready to face every crisis. We are habitual now. There is going to be acute shortage of power all over the country soon.

They have the option of using hand-fans and kerosene lamps/candles. Saves on electric bills as well.

:woohoo: :woohoo: or may be to sleep at the top of the house at night is the better option and in villages still people do that as in my village there is supply of power for only 10 hours a day. :)

Power cuts are now becoming a serious problem.Power cuts are mainly occurred during summer because these days the supply of electricity increase a lot.Many air conditioner were in great use which needs high voltage.

This week onwards, here in Kolkata also we are experiencing continuous power cut nights and days. Time is not fixed for such activities.
