The use of it is clearly idiomatic and you have not said it! What I intended to mean is that enjoyment should be collective - not that of a particular person!
Even i don't think there is anything wrong in viewing articles had it been against the rules there would not have been such a system. :)

However, if it is considered that some members just click and get points, which is undesirable, it is necessary to change rules. One way is to fix maximum points for article reading in a day. Fifty points a day for reading articles may be okay.

No doubt there can be several ways to stop it but that depends on admin i have been here on this site since last 3~4 months and have seen lots of users doing this and apparently many of us complained this to admin but next week too we see new user doing the same thing. This gives me a feeling that admin too don't want to stop it and don't think it to be wrong.

Hope adim one day will take this seriously and that day would be a penultimate for many of the users. :)

You cannot accuse anyone if he gets points by rule and does not write any spam post or comment. If it is desired that points by reading only be restricted, this can be done by changing rule. Until rule is changed, it is futile to accuse anyone in this regard.

Yes that is exactly the point, the sites work on views which is their main source of income, they can not block any one for doing good for the site. This is your choice how you make your points. But in the long run there wont be many options for people who are only doing this as means of points.

Of course they may not be successful in long run. :)

I agree that the strategy of earning points by reading articles only does not succeed in long run. One may earn in his entire life only as many points as there are articles. What really happens is that such members come and go making way for similar new members. The old members having already read most articles have no scope for reading articles. This constant stream of article reading specialists dampens the morale of others. That explains the anger of old members.

That is why I suggested that maximum fifty points per day be fixed for reading articles. There is already a limit of five for writing articles. similar limit on reading may also be justified.

Ok i read all your comments on this matter and i dont think this is against the rule as i give a 1 minute time interval per article. As i read most article because i want to know what type of article are good for site and what type of article i can write. If you think this is wrong then i cannot agree with you opinion.

I do not know whether you referred to my comments. I never said that earning points by reading articles is against rules. Also there is no limit on maximum number of articles that one may read and get points any day.

But many members are feeling aggrieved as this strategy puts them in disadvantageous position. So, I suggested that a limit of fifty points on reading articles per day may be prescribed. There is already a limit on writing five articles in a day.

However, personally, I do not favor any limit either on reading or writing.

This is a good suggestion.

New members are correct to believe that there is no limit. Presently, there is no limit on reading articles. As long as there is no limit, they can read as many articles as they can and earn points. If and when rule changes, we shall see.

So silence of the administration does clear the air! So nothing disgusting about it - go on all barrels blazing!!
If this against the rule then why Admin cannot take a step. They must clear the limitation.Otherwise make free to read.
The only problem is that such posts come up regularly and funnily even by those who have been at it, yet make occasional noises!!
