I am not sure when people will get rid of boy/girl mentality from friendship. Friend is a friend only.


I have read in childhood friend in need is a friend indeed.There was nothing like boy cannot have friend who is a girl or vice versa. :)


You read it in childhood, this is written allover, every where, a friend does not come unless in need. I know many such friends. ;)

I think boy could be better friend for boy and girl can be for girl but positive and negative could not be best friend.

If friendship is caused by physical charm, this is best between a boy and girl. But if there are reasons of thought, similar circumstances or job or simply emotional attachment, gender does not matter.

It dosn't matter, whethes it is a gal or guy. Any person, with whom you have a good understanding, can be your better friend.
