no online shoping is not good for us there is unsafe thing that cause in this process.
Sanket, thanks for the information about flipkart.com, do they accept the payment option from Paymate? I often receive Paymate vouchers and would like to use them!

Kalyani I do not see any problem you using paymate vouchers. I am mean you gonna load them into your pre-paid wallet right? which can be used in most online transactions. Anyways thats my working theory and it should work in principle, just try and if you face any result to the contrary let us know. And flipkart really have good service.
As on now its not the world's best site but its India's best and safe online purchasing portal
If you ever had to make any Purchase please login via www.flipkart.com/user-profiles/sanketchief-3564

Sanket you gotta login to your affiliate account and then give your friends a unique link that you will find in your affiliate account. It has a tracker in it and will track the purchase until 24 hours after the clickthrough. Here is the link to login to your affiliate account:

http://www.flipkart.com/affiliate/

The profile link won't fetch you any commissions.

Indiatimes have really messed up. What I did not like the msot was, how they changed the book section. I have saved links of like 15 books and all of a sudden I can't even find one books. I normally order in bulk but they have ruined it. Also, the way to find books previously was much better than the new look.

Anyways I hope it works out for you, havn't tried it yet myself so your experience with this, would certainly expand my knowledge on this.

online shopping with shopping card is the best way of online shopping

see thats another plus point of boddunan...you get to learn so much about various useful things...good thread guys..it will help many more.
Yes saketh you have given valuable informaton and vidhi cleared our doubts.
Ok sarala if we want to buy a mobile it is better to buy it on online.

sasikanth definitely you can buy mobile online there is no issue in it in-fact you can buy other items too online, see if you are buying online then you will be getting two type of benefit one is discount and another you will be getting latest mobiles in India.
Everything has its own merits and demerits.
Main advantage of online shopping is it saves our time. But the danger that hide behind it is, the user may be cheated. Through the display shown on webpages, user may order one product. But what he gets may be not what he want. Sometimes, it won't even have replacement policies. Sometimes user may get damaged products.

Also, there are many fake sites, displays their products. We can't even guarantee that we will get the product. But our money will be gone.

But most dangerous of all is, some programs which may ask not only our account number but also our password, for buying products. Here user will be 100% cheated.

NEVER GIVE YOUR PASSWORDS TO ANY SITES.
I heard an incident from one of my friends 1 month before. It was about his friend.

While he was surfing, he saw a page ordering some books. At first, he feel interested and fill the form. He gave his account number. But then he felt in mind, I don't want these books that costs Rs.500. So, clicked cancel button, instead of OK. But he was shocked to see a message was displayed saying, 'Debited Rs.500 from your a/c'. ie. The trap was that even if the user quits, the transaction should be done.
2 weeks later, he got a parcel containing 2 books which didn't even worth Rs.100.
He was cheated 2 times in 2 ways.

So you should never give your a/c details to an unknown site.
Sandhya, here, the mistake was of that person, which has ordered those books. You have to make sure ,that the site or any portal rom which we are dealing, should be genuine. Otherwise, you shouldn't deal.

Precaution is must.

Ya, it is surely his mistake.

But how a CANCEL button can act as OK. Isn't it cheating?
There are lot many genuine sites available for online shopping. That sites will lock our payment up to our feedback for their products after delivering. By this way we can easily hope we can get quality products.( if we give negative feedback then the payment will not reach the seller).
Sandhya,I think that First,he has selected O.K button to confirm, but quickly after that he may had selected Cancel button. May be this the reason of acting Cancel button as O.K button.
Yes ronark, you are correct this is the only possibilities of Cancel button act as O.K. Button.
