We all make mistakes so nothing much to discuss about. Every one present there was equally responsible.

Agree with you. To err is human. Admitting  mistake and Passing the Buck are altogether different.. The essence is " Admit your mistake is the trait of Humility.."

Evading the responsibility for commiting mistakes is right of politicians so it is but natural. Learnto live with that as nothing isgoing to change in near future.

I am an optimist. hence hoping for the best so that things will change, if not today, tomorrow.  Convincing with a reason that "It's the Politicians right" is nothing short of Self - Deceit.

Till the flag was unfuled, the minister would not be aware of the upside position. But he and everyone present would have noticed the position of flag after unfurling. The mistake could be corrected immediately and national anthem played only after correction.

Exactly sir. Not noticing and trying to pass the buck on others is the gravest mistake on the part of the minister.

In this case the Minister can not be blamed. The district officials should test raise the flag to see its correct position and then tie it up for being raised by the minister.

You mean the Minister should pose as if it's a normal thing. Even this is better. But he has thrown the blame on others. To correct a mistake everybody's responsibility.

Minister had come to raise the flag. At this rate a guest is responsible if host commits a faux pas. Mistake has to be corrected by those responsible.

If I go even  as a guest to some house and spot a mistake in the household, there is nothing wrong in pointing out the mistake to the owner of the house. Rather the Householder will be happy. It's my habit to pick the unwanted things and throw in the nearest Dust can on the road during my morning walk.It's a question of responsibility. Ministers are not exceptions.
