At last we are reaching towards the state where consumer protection is vital and when such brands even does not care for people who relished them for generations they only themselves to blame for this.

There are a plethora of consumer protection laws in vague. But sadly many are not aware of them. Consumerism should go deep in to the core of the society.

Three celebrities are in trouble now, and they would fight case in court of justice, it seems that all over India Maggie is now banned for month and Maggie also started withdrawing its product from everywhere.

CEO of Nestle spoke today. Amitabh had already said that he would fight in the courts.

it is a lesson learn for celebrities before accepting brand ambassador status for any product they endorse, as many people blindly follow celebrity advice and that creates problem. We are growing as a nation at last.

Now these Brand ambassadors too realized. Hope Maggie episode will act as an eye opener to both Brand ambassadors and and consumers.

 

Blindly promoting a product may cause a problem which is proved in this case and absolutely this whole episode may have opened the eyes of people.

As a nation we are a country that believes in the fact that, "Oh.. This product is ts made by a internationally reputed company. Without any hesitation one can treat it as a Healthy product."

This attitude of Blind Brand faith should go away.

Apparently , earlier in the sixties and seventies film stars promoted only beauty products and beauty soaps and probably modelled for dresses which was ok given the fact that they came from a glamorous background.But even there , with animal activists crying foul about cosmetics tested on animals one needs to be careful.But now the celebrities leave no stone unturned in their greed to make more money, they take all without a thought ...hopefully things would change in the future and they will be careful before taking up any endorsement in a hurry and so would be the companies...


Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

According to Times of India of today, Nestle India spent over 400 cores on celebrity endorsements and spent only 19 cores for testing security of its product related with health conditions.
