How many of you have donated blood at least once?

So,Once in every month Blood can be donated.

i also know it now only ;)

As in the article it tells that after every 8 days,blood can be donated. Didn't got its technical terms.

That was for donating only the platelets and not the whole blood.
By the way, those who have donated blood, I just wanted to know something. In the article it was written that one should have a good meal and plenty of fluids before donating blood. What about after donating blood? once somebody told me that after donating blood, one should take some extra diet regularly for few days. Did you take special diet after donating blood?

donating blood is good for health. once a person donate blood then for 6 months that person should not donate blood

Please read it carefully it never said that one can donate blood after 8 days. May be you are confused. :blink:

Milk very soon after donating blood can restore those previous level faster.... I heard so.

But drinking milk is not good to those who has vomiting tendency.

Doctors say it is filled with in hour.

No, it never fill with in hour. It takes 6 months to get filled, thats why doctors suggest people that after donating they should not give blood for 6 months

So far only have donated one time.. My blood groupd is A+..

i havent yet donated blood for a single time.as i never got such opportunity.but in future if i will get such an opportunity i will definately do so.

I love to donate blood. I had given thrice up to now as it is good for health.

Donating blood is good for health and but donating beyond the limit is not good for health

I think most of the members here have +ve blood group and I am the only who has -ve blood group.

Normally all negative groups are most rare...

As you, my girl is also O+.
They can accept blood from O group only :(

But majority of people who I know are B+ including me :woohoo:
