Hike of about 8/liter has shaken the Indian community Do you think they'll reduce the prices as some sources are indicating. But the sale of cycles have gone up in last 24 hours. The cycle dealers have sold out every thing in stock and advance booking in progress. I am also going to book one today.

Petrol is a bullet from Government Gun and it cannot be return until it attact on a target like common people.......
Petrol price are deregulated and hence market forces decide the price. The prices are indicators of market and these should remain regulated. Increase in petrol price is indicative of need to reduce petrol consumption by switching to alternative sources of energy, using vehicles economically, preferring public transport to private and other similar measures.

Petrol price hike may not be necessarily bad. Here is link:

Thanks for sharing the link sir...........But still i think some power may be in government hand to reduce the price of petrol by 2 0r 3 rupees..........
Government may give subsidy to oil companies or pressurize them to reduce prices.

I feel that government should not give unconditional subsidy. Subsidy should be given direct to two wheeler users and small car users direct subject to income limit and number of vehicles owned.
According to experts the losses incurred were not as high as they increased the prices, those were in the range of 4-5/ but they did it intentionally to decrease later to gain political mileage.
Ya that all are the membership of oil company and government.....

The CM of Delhi has indicated that she will reduce the taxes for Delhi consumers but that is no solution of the problem. There are people who are living in other states also.
Government only do promise but when a time come to fulfill that promise they forget their all promise.......

C.M. of Delhi is responsible only to Delhites. C.M.s of other states may reduce VAT in their states and reduce petrol price.
Diesel price is also increasing by 5 rupees and LPG by 50
The budget at 4PM will decide the rates of petrol in Delhi. They will declare rate of decreased taxes to reduce rates of petrol.
Ya we all wait for Budget might be it can bring some relief and common people.......
Since the crude prices are going down this should be a good move if they reduce petrol prices to give some relief to public.
