I think so....since boli is made from that daal...

Kheer, we use it for Laddu and Raita only, nothing else.

For us kheer is made of rice only Also we use fox nut or Makhana to make kheer, some people make it of carrots also but that has a different name.

you know whenever some rice is leftover my wife puts it on fire to cook with milk, sugar and dry fruits to make kheer easily.
