yes, but in present days forcefully parents are performing minor marriages and even performing the marriages without the interest of the children. they are just seeing money. Now a days marriage has become one kind of business.

But I think this trend is changing fast for good. Now consent of both boy and the girl is considered important. besides number of girl child getting lower too is making difference. Girls are getting upper hand now.

I am not sure SaralaJi about your experience as in our areas, girls are rejecting unsuitable match or demanding ones outright, without thinking. They want boys which are sober and understanding.
