The best way is to motivate people to report corruption to appropriate authorities. Although Lok pal is not there presently, people can always report to C.V.C. and authorities under him. all organizations have vigilance cells. Unless people report, there is no remedy. If people do not report, Lok pal will also be ineffective.
Frankly speaking I have no idea..but I guess if I see corruption happening right under my nose..definitely will try to raise my voice and lodge a complaint to appropriate authorities.
Only thing we can do is to complain to the authorities if we see any person doing corruption but that's a tough task as 90% of the people in India are corrupted these days. May be Lokpal bill could have made a difference.
Very little since all that I can do is make sure I don't take bribes and since I have no political power no one would offer bribes to me.So the next best thing to do is not to give bribes to anyone to get your work done...
Corruption can be irradicated when system will work according to law. Moreover general public should not admit to give bribe to any government officials.
Nowadays politics has become very costly and only rich persons can get a seat in the government. To change this corrupt country into a uncorrupt country we should get self motivated and try to avoid this corruption.
