Has Indian political structure seen a downward trend as claimed by the opposition parties ?

Political scene like everything else in our society has changed and has become far more aggressive and violent , but this is true of all parties. Or is it a fact that when parties lose power they tend to downgrade a party that is in power?

Yeah really seen a downward trend because the people became nationalists and they are not going with secularism .not only people but also ruling party which target the people in the name of religion .and strengthening the vote bank of one community people.which is against to the democracy and constitutional laws. How ever the ruling which being kept there way of satisfying the people of there community by targeting some of key issues . which were there From the past.which doesn't have the solution and didn't have any judgement in the past. It makes people that,if this will be the party in ruling there will be lots of problems solved and clean free nation's without any issues ,what people think. Then what about development which doesn't have question these is the main reason behind downward trend of Indian political structure. - Yameen - 4 years ago

I believe that Indian politicians are not a matured lot. In India, Every political parties are more interested in downgrading the other parties rather than offering something constructive. We don't find much difference between them. Every parties have politicians with criminal background, every parties have some members flaunting their VIP status or those indulging in hooliganism etc. So, we can't agree to the claim of opposition that the political structure has seen a downward trend.

I totally agree with you . We have noticed that downgrading of political structure in last decade and it is quite noticeable. It has stooped to a new low and each time you think that this is the lowest that they can stoop to, they shock you with another one. And no party can be spared. I also feel that it is the same across the Globe though it is more profound here. I feel lobbying by media, fake news circulation and headline management add fuel to it. In fact there are professional hired to do that. So each party has a hired paid team be it in media or elsewhere who just have the job f maligning other party, twisting the facts and misleading people.
