Indian Polity.

Let us be specific and express our views.

Do you agree that our Country has become more intolerant than before?

BJP which fought the 2014 Elections on Gujarat Model of Development is seen to be considering Nationalism as the main issue of 2019 Loksabha Election, what is your opinion on the concept of Nationalism that has somehow become the subject of National Discourse at present?

Yes, in the current BJP rule many nationalistic activities are happening very actively, in a more aggressive pace. There is a continuous rise in violence in some areas that are being backed up, covered and protected by their leaders though. The party has a strong influence on the roots of its leader. Just compare the developments in Gujarat before and now during and things will be obvious about nationalism. Also, honorable PM is extending his strong presence literally whole North India, while slowly crawling into the south with his productive schemes. Balakot strikes, upgrading military for anti-terror and for the security of the nation, improving sanitization with sulab complexes, health vision 2020, PJMY health and pension schemes and many other beneficial programs already implemented and more to be expected.

As far as the tolerance and secularism of our country is concerned, I don't think that our society has become more intolerant in last five years. It is just the negative propaganda that is going on. On ground reality we are still the same peace loving secular society.

Yes. Nationalism is the current flavor not only in India but also across the Globe. This government has put nationalism above caste, creed and other divisive factors. Nationalism has helped to unite the country and that has come as the clear mandate to this government. We have seen strict action against terrorism and other anti national activities.

Change cannot be stopped , some of it may be positive and some of it may be negative.  We have to analyse and accept because change in a system happens because there is a valid reason. So a shift in political structire and national feeling comes when there is a need.  Every past or present action has a reaction which is the basic truth of life.
