I don't think so. Indians have become so used to corruption, inactive governments, useless politicians, red tapism and whatever could have moved people in any other country to stand up against such acts and revolted. So no chance for any war at all. We can sing patriotic songs , dance to the tunes of film stars and purchase items advertised by cricketers but can never fight a war even if for our own benefit. I know civil war is different that is in between governments and civilians for their rights, but we do not qualify for that as we are not a civilization that knows its duties so we have no right to talk about our rights as well.
There is no such likelihood. There are not two classes- corrupt and honest. There is only one class- corrupt. The 'honest' are only those incapable of anything. It is unlikely that they will be 'capable' to wage a civil war against 'corrupt' who are overwhelming majority. all sections of society- politicians, bureaucrats, clergy, saints, doctors, businessmen, even students- are corrupt. The issue is that everyone wants all to be honest with exception of him, his family and close friends and associates.
No chances for a civil war, but there will be a lot of chaos and disorder. Brutal strength and hooliganism will rule the roost. Honesty will become a liability. Rule makers will become Rule breakers.
Which civil war you are talking about?. We have been living in such conditions from long time and I doubt if conditions get changed we won't be able to survive. Corruption definitely is bad thing but now we have been habitual of living with it and it hardely matters now for us.
Everything has its own shelf-life after which it has top die its inevitable death. When everything exceeds its limit, all the strains and chains that have held it back are broken easily. Corruption at all levels, apathy of government in India, arrogance and excessive materialism of the super rich, etc. and the other numerous problems also have their own shelf life, what we are seeing now is a culmination of stupid policies put in place by an incompetent and moronic government more than 60 years ago and I have no doubts that it is all going to be taken down one day. Although how long more it will take to happen, I cannot say, but if things do not change drastically and for better, civil war is inevitable.
