All the three carved a niche of their names in the pages of history for their ground breaking reforms and their amazing strength to bring large areas of land under their rule. Ashoka's reforms paved the way for many of the present day reforms. Avenue plantation on the long patches of land in his empire was one of his reforms for which History remembers him.
Alexander realized in the last phase of his life and requested his subjects not to be overwhelmed by the massive wealth he amassed because no one can take a single farthing with him after his death.
The three heads of a line which the government of India adapted was one of the stupas at Sarnath built by the great emperor Ashoka. And to day one can realize the fact that a person's valour and courage in warfare is recognized by "Ashoka Chakra." This speaks of his worthiness to have "The Great" as a suffix to his name,
Akbar's social and financial reforms formed the base for many of today's several reforms. His religious tolerance was proven by not only employing Hindus in key positions like Raja Todar Mall as his adviser, and employing many seers and people of high worth like Tansen in his court, but alsoall by his marriage to Jodha Bhai, a Rajput.
Owing to all these factors only these three were bestowed the title of :"Great" , though there were many other rulers who ruled India.
They all made an impact and stood out and also changed the history of India yo a great extent. Alexander was one of the most courageous leaders that history of man kind has seen, Akbar was a great leader who instilled secularism among Indians in those days and Ashoka inspite of having everything at his disposal was still able to opt for something higher...
They work for the welfare and development of public in every field of life. They gave the freedom of religion to them .They do the social and financial progress also.
