If R. D had not given those two songs to Kishore Da?????
Before S. D. Burman fell ill in 1969, he recorded two duets of the movie Aradhana with Mohd Rafi (Gunguna rahe hai with Asha Bhosle and Bahom mein bahar hai with Lata). Later the work was resumed by his son, R. D. who gave its most memorable solo songs to Kishore. It's also rumoured that those two songs - Roop tera mastana and mere sapnom ki rani, which changed the fate of Rajesh khanna and Kishore Kumar were ghost composed by R.D. With the rise of new decade, three great stars were born who changed the face of Bollywood and Bollywood music - Kishore Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and of course, R.D. That was the impact of 'Aaradhana effect', the movie which failed to get distributors after the failure of Khanna movies till then......
Like any music lover, I too wonder, as his father's wish, if R. D. has given those two songs to Mohammed Rafi, what would have been its after effects? Think a bit creative and post some interesting answers please......
