Interest rates and service of banks are better than post office. In post office on maturity of NSE we have to pay some commission to post master to get payment.

Post offices are more reliable than private banks but interest rate is a little lower than banks.

Post office and bank both give good interest rate. MIS, NSC and KVP are good for investing in post office.
But, preferring Bank and investing there is better.
