According to the latest survey, Gujarat is the most polluted state in India. The increasing level of pollution due to emissions of factories and toxic wastes has aggravated the problem over there. Among all the states which are liable for total hazardous wastes Gujarat tops the lists followed by Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Even the state government of Gujarat is being criticized for not taken adequate measure to curb the issue...!

The most polluted state in Maharastra.vaitarna,which provides drinking water to Mumbai,is among the most polluted rivers in Maharastra.Andhra pradesh also most polluted state in India.
I am sure if the proper surveys are done they will find Delhi as most polluted state in India and if all other matters considered UP would not leg behind.
