Are persons with high IQ intelligent in maths?
Someone told me, a person who is brilliant in mathematics are the most intelligent persons of this world. The person himself is a bank employee with more than 12 or 15 experience in banking industry, for whom mathematics form a daily part of their job. But I feel, we became experts in a subject or language as our situation/profession demands, and also our daily practice; and brilliance in one particular subject or two can never be taken as a right measure to know how bright he is. Best instance is: A fish can never climb a tree and a monkey can never swim :). What's your opinion?
I think practical knowledge to deal with a life situation can be a good choice to know how brilliant/expert a person is, though it can never taken as a 100% measurement.
