Karma literally means .’Action.’ As long as one believes in the theory, “Cause and effect.”belief in Karma is not a bad thing. Newton’s third law of motion says, “ For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction,”
The Hindu belief on Karma also says the same thing. Do good, You will reap good. Do Bad, you reap bad. So if one is knowledgeable about the intricacies of Karma, one can progress. To put it in short, ‘You are responsible for your own actions. The problem with some people is they attribute their failures to Karma and fate. Which is not true.

For me Karma is most important. If I know how to complete my jobs successfully and reach to goals I set for myself, that should be what they call destiny. I set my own destiny.

People don't blame their destiny. They blame their luck. I would say that the people who works hard and have patience, will never blame their luck. They know it is good not bad. They accept their destiny or path is little difficult. They should work and keep patience.

I believe in the thing that if we do something good to others, we get back something good. It's simple - get back what you give. You can call that Indian culture.

Firm belief in destiny implies that you are sure that events in your life will take shape in a certain way that is predetermined by some unseen authority and you or nobody else can steer otherwise. This will definitely eliminate your initiative and efforts in all matters- family, career, society. Also, if something goes wrong, you will blame destiny and not try to mend.

No never...it will definitely not help us...but make you an lazy person. How can you live when you think that whatever happens, it is due to your karma. Your life will be finished before you would realize. Rather than believing in karma take appropriate decisions at the right time to make our future secure.

I think there is nothing wrong to have a belief in karma but it should not be used as a means to escape reality, most Indians will never really take efforts to so do something properly and when things do not turn out right, they are ready to blame their destiny. Destiny is merely used as a weapon to either do things the easy way or not to do it all and then say it wasn't their destiny in the first place.

Where karma is concerned, I firmly believe in it because I am convince that karma is not my fate or destiny but more related to my actions and deeds, if I act honestly and in a righteous manner, then the fruits of those deeds will be returned to me deservedly, maybe now, maybe later, I do not know, I do not think about it. But I am totally convinced that my like Newton's third law of motion, each action and conduct that I perform will have an equal and opposite reaction, therefore I take care that those actions are always honest and right and not intended to harm others! And if my karma changes my destiny for good, then the better it is!
