Many people take a small walk and gossip with friend for a while. You can also talk to your friends and relatives on mobiles. This will change your mood.
I would want to go jump into the swimming pool, that is perhaps the only way that can keep from sleeping or would like to play chess with some one who knows to play it well.
I used to wash my face and have hard sprinkle water on my eyes. Also, i have seen that when you have conversation with others, then you don't get sleep very quickly.
Washing face is Ok but you definately need a break of 5-10 minutes. Listen soft music or keep your eyes close for 10 minutes. Then again go back to work.
