Are we the Indians born hypocrites?

Hypocrisy lies not on individuals but with the religion and philosophy handed down from generations.

I agree with you on this..we are hypocrite..and those of us who wish to go against the stream, speak the truth are looked down upon. As little children we are constantly taught to say and agree with what most of the people do..herd mentality..and then we are choose to become hypocrite to get acceptance in the society and in our family but behave differently when alone. This is nothing but hypocrisy.

Yes I agree most of them are hypocrites this is due to culture.

We are not hypocrites. We really have good values and morals. Some wrong things may happen. But totally we are good.

Most Indians are hypocrites and have double standards, probably because of the cultural background and also economic reasons...

Most of Indian have double standard for daughters. But now situation is improving. Daughters proved that we are not inferior than sons.
