What Is the Future of Engineering?

With the current down turn in the economy many engineers have loss their jobs or worried that they maybe losing their job soon. Budget constraints both in the public and private sector are forcing to think about how secure the jobs really are.

But as we all know this recession will not last forever. Sooner or later the promised recovery will begin. The question is what engineering will benefit from the renewed economy and which ones will not fair so well? There is no real crystal ball, but there are clear indicators that every engineer should be aware of and make preparations accordingly.

Engineering is evergreen just like many other areas and streams of study.

Deapite temporary setbacks arising from demand surplus in certain areas, the Engineering branch on the whole will always have good prospects. Engineering has many branches. It appears that mines,  aviation and marine engineering have better prospects.

There is always need of Engineers and the field is always expanding more and new improvements are done constantly...which itself shows that future is quiet good. Even the recession could only effect should branches on Engineering especially Computer Sciences and IT ..other branches which come under pure Engineering will always have the demand whatever be the circumstances. So to conclude Future of Engineering is bright.
