Knowledge or Education?

It's the nice answer posted till now. in my daughter's class, they just gave 5 or 10 words a day and ask her to write it repeatedly so that she learns by-heart. If she doesn't complete, she takes it home and complete as homework. If I ask her to read those words, in most cases she blinks. What is the use of such education???? I never tries to bi-heart lesson. If it's the case of grammar, i choose my own way, choose my own examples and teach her practically. I too, in my school days never learnt bi-heart. I think, it's the best way to learn something. By doing so, we are acquiring knowledge, not education. Am i not right? - Sandhya Rani - 11 years ago |
