I hate this website a lot. Somehow it got installed to my system. When I tried to remove it, it was not at all successfully deleted from the system. But now, it's not listed under programs. When I open mozilla, instead of google page, Sweet page opens first, which looks irritating. Now, from where can I search sweet page (from which folder) and delete it completely?

It will not go away from your system unless you uninstall it properly from the control Panel.Add/remove Programs. Only after you do it, it will get deleted.

It looks like quite a stubborn spyware which has found its way in your system. Better take a back up of all important stuff and if you have stored any bank info etc. in your system, take it off immediately and the look for ways to remove the program. Also, I would suggest that you do not pay bills or use banking sites as long as it is still there!

Honestly.. This is not a simple program.. It is like spyware. First you will not found uninstall option on your computer. Even somehow you uninstall it from program files, you will still see that home page on every browser on your computer....
Even I faced the same few days ago, and I tried lots of stuffs from internet. But none of them worked for me. Finally I format my computer for the same.. Such spyware also deletes the restore point from your computer so that you can't restore your computer on any previous date. Very irritating stuff.
I got this problem by installing some program from unknown installer. So better you don't download any unknown stuff on your computer.. Specially those installer which install other programs..
I am not saying to do the same. I am talking about formatting the system. You can still try out few ideas available on the internet as you will find many. And honestly I can't say which one of them will work for you as you have to tried them out. Hope one of them will work for you and you don't have to format your computer...........But that's the last option.

Nandu,
I completely assembled a new system in January only (except my LED monitor). So, it's not feasible to re-instal my 2-month old system.
Once I happened to use a s/w named Unlock. But i don't knw if it can find and delete this one.

This one will be hard to delete. Try to restore if you have any previously automatically saved restore points.. That will surely restore your system just like before..
Else I already told you your luck with different methods available to delete such program which change home page of all browsers in system. May be one of them works for you.

Suny, am fooled now too
as suggested I installed Spyhunter.... and did system scan
I was surprised to see the threats listed under, which give information about our visited sites to others. It's not only Sweet page, but many more. I was happy that i can remove them all. It took more than half hour to scan the system and i was waiting. When scan was complete, they are asking for register....hahaha. Why should I give money????

There are very good responses above, especially from Anand. One thing I must tell you though, always keep a good anti-virus running at the back when you are connected to the internet. I am using internet at home for more than four years now and never faced even a single problem for virus or spyware.
