Yes, I do believe the same. More than parents, it gives extra pressure to kids. When I was a kid, there were art schools only in big towns and cities. Now it's not the case. We can see music classes and dance classes even at remote villages. One such class just opposite my home, though guru's student is teaching. Yet a lot of students. What could be the reason?? Parents dreaming about Kalathilakam or such reality competitions. What i feel is, already kids have a good work load. with such participation, it takes away their freedom to spare time in plays and other activities.
While watching such pgms, a lot of time waste. Yet i cant deny the fact that kids get a good platform to start their career. But very often, they forget everything if they come to limelight. End result.....they loss their charm and fade away so quick. Earlier artists had to struggle a lot. But now, electric equipments have taken that part, to cover those mistakes. New generation has also accepted songs and tunes without any melody. Everything changes with time, so do music and its required parameters.
It certainly makes big negative difference. have you seen those weeping kids who come back home after declared 'failed' in that young age. Some of them develop a sense of 'negativity' for years to come. And the kids watching these programs find themselves setting false goals for them. And everyone knows not everyone can make to the movie world based on these programs. Leave the kids aside, do you remember anyone from different shows on TV reaching anywhere. Only SAREGAMA is exception perhaps.
The reality shows are really not real. These are for entertainment only. But many treat these as real. This causes negative impact. Moreover, the behavior of the particpants in these shows is vulgar and uncivilized. This can cause negative impact only.
It can have a negative effect only when the people watching are weak minded.However, most minds are impressionable to a certain extent at least and when a certain thing whether good or bad is being shown and dinned into your mind again and again it becomes a norm and people stop analysing it and accept it easily.This is the worst that a reality show does to people's mind, make thenm stop thinking independently..
Reality show is only source of enteetainment. It has negative impact too. Reality show such as big boss is such example. Participant taking part is big boss is acting as animal or uncivilized.
I don't think reality tv show have any bearing on our minds. By now we all know there is hardly anything real in reality shows...every move is predetermined and scripted. And if there are any such show which impacts anyone negatively, I suggest we should avoid such shows.
Yes.. At some level surely it is creating some negative effects. Honestly most of the reality shows have no reality. I think they are just scripted to serve entertain and yes because of that they are not showing any reality. And yes some of action can create negative effects.
