How many browsers can I have?

Yes, you can have any number of browsers if you wish.You can have as many on your computer as you like with no conflicts,
because they act independently and it is safe also. By default most of internet users are stuck with IE as their browser.
These are the browswers that are in common use,
1.Mozilla Firefox
2.Google Chrome
3.Opera
4.Safari
5.Internet Explorer
6.Netscape Navigator

IE is the default browser.60% Of users prefer IE, whereas Mozilla is prefered in offices and I personally feel google chrome is the fastest one. Google chrome adopts some features of mozilla too.but one thing i liked the most is when i pressed back button in opera is loads at super fast.

There is no speed dial in firefox.Instead we had bookmarks toolbar.It is cool

1.mozilla firefox (with addons)
2.opera
3.safari
4.internet explorer

You can use any number of browsers as u want, depending upon ur computer RAM speed. As mentioned in the answer by sajeetharan, u can use all those browsers. But if ur using a lower configuration system, then its better to go for internet explorer and Chrome.

There is nothing wrong with browsers and installing them can never slow your ssytem. But if any antivirus software is installed in your system it may slow the process of opening the browser and result is browser opens very slowy..They dont occupy much space on your RAM when compared to Anti virus softwares and OS

In general having different browsers is advantages than single one. For example consider Firefox which is best for opening sites like Boddunan.com which previously didnt work well in IE. Some features in Article section didnt work well. So if the site has specified any particular browser it is better to have it..

Google Chrome is best for high traffic sites like Facebook and games in facebook like Farmvilla.

I have three browsers installed on my system and i havent  faced any clash problem or slow down etc...

I am using Mozilla,Google chrome and safari...Its not bad to use so many browsers...

According to me just 2 browsers are sufficient and no having them both installed, does not cause any issues.

it won't matters whether you have 3 or more browsers.you can download as many browsers you want there is no restriction on it
