Muncipality refers to a smaller township and the funds allocated too are much lesser than for Corporations.Corporations are clusters of several small townships managed by several different organisations all coming under the development authorities of a particular state government.

As far as WORK is concerned. there is no difference. But Municipality is smaller in format than A corporation's format.
