How to convert .ppt files to .avi files?

Guys,

I have made some presentations for my kid. Want to convert them to videos, in specific to avi format.

Can anyone suggest me how to do it?

Well, I don't know whether you can do it directly from Powerpoint software or not, but of course you can do it using some free software. Google it and I am sure you will get free app.
