Investing in gold is a winning investment strategy but when it is purchased in the form of jewellery, gold tends to wear because of regular usage and is prone to damage. In addition to this, the making charges and exchange charges will have an effect on the final price at which you buy or sell the jewellery. Buying physical gold is the best investment in gold. One can buy gold in the coin or bar form from a bank or a jeweller. Available in different weights, these bars and coins can be used at any later stage to make jewellery. The advantage of such form of investing is that you generally only pay the market price, and there's no additional charge in the form of making or wastage charges.
Ornament is the wprst of the lot since you lose out on many things like making charges and also while selling they take it as old gold....the best fform is to buy bullions or gold coins or bonds..
1)Gold Shares and Gold fund (gold etf) is good for investment. Because you don't have any responsibility for store and secure your gold.
2)You buy gold coin and gold bar. And keep it in your Bank for safety.
Gold should be purchased in the form of biscuits and not in the form of jewelery. Because once jewelery is purchased we cannot sale them so easily and personally we dont feel like selling them. If it is not a jewelery you can sale it easily or make is cash
It Depends person to person like mostly women like to buy ornaments(22k) but in this case one should have to bear making charges but they can be recovered as no one sells gold in 2 or 3 years, gold bars and coins are more fruitful as an investment because it pure gold i.e 24k and bear less making charges than on ornaments, but at the same time it difficult to take care of them as only bank locker the safe place to keep them.
