How are hits of a topic calculated?

In Topics how are hits calculated, are they on total number of members who clicked that topic or those of boddunan members only?

Hits include total number of visits to a topic, not just the members.

I think hits of guest visitor also included in total hits. But I am not assured.

According to me, hits include both the users here as well as guest members who visit the topic.
