Voting doe snot score any points for you, but if you voted the maximum number of times than any one else in a day, then you automatically get Rs 25 Top Voter of the day award.
Polls will not carry points. If on a single day, if you participate in more polls than other members on that given day, you will be rewarded with Rs. 25.
I too have voted and missed many a times since the top voter alone gets the cash reward, so nowadays I hardly ever vote since it takes a long time to do so, and I would rather do something else here...
On dashboard Under section How can I earn points it is mentioned vote on polls, i e if we vote on any poll we should earn points...

Previously points are given for polls in addition to top voter of the day. But those points are not considered for contests like member of the week, revenue sharing,etc., But now the points for polls are removed
