What is the thing that appeals to you in a painting?

Painting is an art and appealing too. Lot of appealing colours which makes the painting more attractive. We all know there are lot of painting techniques and charcoal painting is one of the most important type of painting but here no colours are there still it is appealing because of postures and the emotions carried by the paint. 

i love painting because it relaxes my mind and tires me too .the most apealing thing is the effort gone in making of it.people who dont paint would not relate how much calliber has been put in the masterpeice but they appreciate its existance .so, its the effrt of everyone which is most appealing.
