Presently, online members are hardly up to six or seven at a time. So the suggestion may work. But if the number of online member increases say 100 members at a time, this will not work. We have to devise methods keeping in view scope for future expansion.

ACtually i was wondering that till now why anyone didnt find IM is needed. I though maybe it is not enable for me as i am junior member..But after seeing this discussion i came to know the reality..It is needed not only for members but can also be useful for urgent response from moderator or to contact them.
