Dear AKP,there is Amitabh Bachchan. Age did not make any dent on his popularity. Though Dilip died, until his days, he remained as the greatest of all.

I like movies and used to watch a lot. Time is a great make-up artist who changes the glamour of youth into the queerness of old age. It is interesting to watch the ‘then and now’ of everyone.

Nothing lasts forever. But those stars of yesteryear and their memorable performances regaled us.

That's why I was mentioning these days... Yes actors like Dilip Kumar and many others are forever.

I have other things to say about Amitabh Bachchan. May be right now he is doing good, but few more years back when he was doing movies like lal badsash and few similar, he was losing his fan following.

A few failures will not matter. As a matter of fact, in the initial stages of his career,ho was dismissed as a flop actor. His performance in the long run should be taken into consideration.

Yup.. In that case yes he is successful till now since his started. But do you think any current actor has such potential? I mean these days actors are not that consistent.

I don't see any actor presently who can stand in par with AB.

True.. Right now I guess Aamir Khan has little more potential. As he is doing well since long.

Amir khan is totally different. He's an alrounder . From script writing editing and to direction, he plays all the roles with aplomb. Whereas AB is just an actor. Even AB agreed that he was nowhere before AB. another such genius is Kamahasan in South.

I love watching old films and western films and have many old film DVDs with me which I watch every now and then, never get fed up of those good old black and white films..In fact yesterday I watched Anupama for the nth time ...what a film ! and the songs ... There are few family favorites that we all watch when we are together like Teesri Manzil, Dil Deke Dekho, Sholay , Love in Tokyo , Jab Pyar kisise hta hai and Chalti Ka naam Ghadi...we have been watching these films and few more since so many years now !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

True Usha. I too see old movies made in the golden era of Indian movies. Particularly for some dialogues which remained in my mind.

Who can forgetthat famous dialogue grom Devdas made by Bimal Roy, " Kaun Hal Woh Kambakht Jo Bardasht Karne Ke Liye Peeta Hai."

Ram Har Jug mein Paida hua, par Laksman Nahin, from Upkaar.
