Chinese believe that Indians are the only people in the world, who do not mind losing their territory. Former union minister Arun Shourie, while delivering a lecture at the Manthan Samwaad in Hyderabad says, China claims a territory first Repeats it again and again. Finally grabs the territory.
That’s what happened with Aksai Chin.
Don’t you think its high time for India to seek new alliances to pursue our own National interests?
Don't you think, India needs a Lion not a Lamb to lead it ?

Let's forget the proposals of Britishers. Boundaries of a country and Histories were distorted and forced on us.After independence, and in tune with our own histories we can get back our lost territories. For this, the rulers should take special interest and do the needful. Unfortunately our rulers show more interest on votes and other insignificant matters.
That is where we lack badly, our rulers have no interest for taking bold steps to save whatever is left. We should not daydream about lost in the past but try to work on and save whatever is left.

It's not only in the case of our territories, our heritage structures and precious antiques are in a bad shape. How many of our brilliant politicians have knowledge about our heritage ?
I have gone through an article sent to me by a member of this site that reveled about certain big politicians are involved in selling this country. I never thought that was possible but that article has very strange information to offer. Selling a country they head!
Drilling a hole in the plate they eat is the chief trait of an Indian politician. If there is a right price, they sell their mothers.

Don't we call this country our motherland, more than a mother for us!

Mother land is an outdated word as far as politicians are concerned. For them Motherland is just a thing worthy of looting as much as they can.

Not for common people of this country, who still love their motherland. Politicians are more like criminals who do not understand about what they are up to.

Not all politicians are criminals and not all of them consider India as their playground.
Right to vote and right to reject are two powers of citizens entrusted to them through constitution and honorable Supreme Court of India, and by exercising this in correct way, citizens can rule out those politicians who are not thinking about India.
All laws are made with good intention by the law makers. When the question of implementation comes, the law that has been crafted to do good to the people will harm the people due to abuse of the law by our own Lawbreakers.

I don't think any of these is going to help us. One sends yourself out and another one makes no difference because one of the contestants is going to be chosen anyway. You do what you may like.

You are right in the sense that seeing the present way of implementing the laws and how they are becoming obsolete has not created the much needed confidence in the people. People have become pessimistic.

In fact neither of the provisions makes any positive impact on the outcome.

The reason is, with the announcement of every new law, the heap of earlier laws lying in the dustbin will flash in to mind of common man.

They are thrusting so much but no positive result. All efforts in gutter.

Now people are becoming smart. They know well before what would be the fate of such acts and laws. I don't agree with the popular belief that people's memory is short always. They record everything . And they burst out at an opportune time.

In reality, people's memory is short. This is natural also. The distant past gets replaced by current present. In our own personal life also, memories fade with time. Secondly, the births and deaths change the people. New generation replaces the old. Now there are hardly any citizens who witnessed the violence during partition of India in 1947. Hence the sentiments on that matter are not so intense as would be in late forties or early fifties.

I did not mean distant memories. I meant just yesterday's memories.

That makes me curious, how people are still managing to take advantage of benefits of 'freedom fighters' until now? Even after 66 years have past and even if a person was 20 years old when he took part in freedom struggle, he must be above 86. But we see the list is increasing every year.
