Right to vote and right to reject are two powers of citizens entrusted to them through constitution and honorable Supreme Court of India, and by exercising this in correct way, citizens can rule out those politicians who are not thinking about India.

I don't think any of these is going to help us. One sends yourself out and another one makes no difference because one of the contestants is going to be chosen anyway. You do what you may like.

You are right in the sense that seeing the present way of implementing the laws and how they are becoming obsolete has not created the much needed confidence in the people. People have become pessimistic.

In fact neither of the provisions makes any positive impact on the outcome.

The reason is, with the announcement of every new law, the heap of earlier laws lying in the dustbin will flash in to mind of common man.

They are thrusting so much but no positive result. All efforts in gutter.

Now people are becoming smart. They know well before what would be the fate of such acts and laws. I don't agree with the popular belief that people's memory is short always. They record everything . And they burst out at an opportune time.

In reality, people's memory is short. This is natural also. The distant past gets replaced by current present. In our own personal life also, memories fade with time. Secondly, the births and deaths change the people. New generation replaces the old. Now there are hardly any citizens who witnessed the violence during partition of India in 1947. Hence the sentiments on that matter are not so intense as would be in late forties or early fifties.

Yes people have short memory, come election time they forget all old promises.
