yes it is coming with help of Japan. First bullet train will be run between Chandigarh and Delhi.

No, It was planned between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

These trains need special tracks therefore would be run on select tracks initially. Although we need these tracks on all main routes immediately.
Bullet trains or fast trains are the need of the hour especially in these days of escalating air fares. .
You are right besides the airport is not available everywhere but the train can stop at more places.
That's the idea. It;s accessible to commoners.
But once it is available to commoners it will be as good as passenger train. It must run fast and in between big passenger points.

True!! If the train has to stop at lot of places, the speed obviously comes down.

Exactly! If the commoners gain more accessibility, then the number of stops go up. Hence no question of bullet trains.
