Both pichi and mulla are known as jasmine in kerala, both flowers are preferred, almost equal demand too. Can anyone tell me the actual name of pichi :cheer: :cheer:
Pichi also has a sweet smell...entirely different from Mulla
This is mulla

Pichi, Mullai, Malligai (Jasmine) and Kanakambaram are famous flowers in Tamilnadu.
what's the difference between mulla and mallika? Pichi, I understood. It's called the same name in Kerala.

It looks very similar to pichi. Right? Except light shades of violet. I think it's available here also, with the same name pichi.

Its not a fight madam. I just want ot know the reason behind the teasing
Orange flowers in hair, it just look funny yaar... :S :S
It's Keralites' observation ;)
It's different from Tamilians :cheer: :cheer:
sandhy,a you may imagine it to be funny, but they actually look very beautiful! Try it once!
Yes, Kanakambaran is nice to see. But can't imagine to wear in our hair. That's why I told it depends on personal preferences and perspectives. :cheer:
Maybe becuase you are not used to it! Actually I have seen it a very common practice in Hyderabad, Bangalore and in Maharashtra, aboli flowers with jasmine! They look very beautiful.
Yet I can't take risk     :woohoo: :woohoo:
3 years back I went to Chamundi temple Mysore and bought some jasmine to decorate my hair. Then only I found those orange patches in between white   . I took off each and every kanakambaram :woohoo: . Otherwise my hubby will tease whole throughout my life to put kanakambaram in my hair   :S
