Do having flowers on hair help gaining confidence for women?

South indian women love to have flowers on their hair which makes them more beautiful. Does it help them think they are much confident?

Flowers are ornamental and good to use as part of hair style. This may make the women more confident. This depends on how they think.

Actually flowers are also treated as jewellery. Women looks beautiful when they tie their hairs along with flowers. Beautiful fragrance of flowers are smelt from their hairs. Its just amazing. Obviously it makes them feel confident.

Ancient time women uses flowers as ornaments specially with hair. Now also in many ceremony they use it.In north India even now they use t daily.

I think North Indians also wear flowers like jasmine, rose etc...
In Kerala, there is a ritual associated with Thiruvathira, where women put 'dasapushpangal' on their hair(10 flowers). But now, it's not seen anywhere

Yes in marriage ceremony we decorate bride and groom with flowers and the place where the occasion held also.

I am not sure if it gives confidence or not, but it does have a certain attraction for ladies.A slim lady wearing a saree with plaited hair and a string of jasmine in her hair looks very feminine and graceful.But sadly you dont get to see such sight any more unless when there is a wedding...

According to many teen age girls and women, flowers not only give fragrance to them and others but also making them more beautiful (angel like). Besides, it gives greater level of confidence. These things can really be felt by female

Woman looks more beautiful yaar. Also, it gives her a traditional look...particularly if she wears a silk or Kerala of white saree with silk border....jasmine flowers of both types match well with Kerala sari

Flowers may help a women to enhance her beauty but how can they be helpful in gaining confidence. :unsure: Moreover now they are hardly used to decorate the hair and are limited for use during some festivals or special events only.

When your appearance is good, you gain confidence to talk to people. That is why we shave our beard (gents), use face powder (ladies), wear good dress and shine shoes before going to office or elsewhere. Similar affect is of flowers in hair.

The flowers gives more beauty to women. Its gives a special traditional look. I like keeping rose flower at the middle and jasmine around the rose flowers gives a great look to our plat and us.
