I personally believe, we should compete with ourselves first to bring out our best. If we try to compete with others, it will bring more tension, pressure and of course, jealousy.

We should compete with ourselves if we are already No. one. For example, chinmoy has presently to compete with himself only. If you are not Number one, you need compete with your immediate higher performer. Thus Santosh Kumar Singh needs compete with chinmoy.

First competitor should be us because we know our best and worst. Then select a second one.....I think it should be a target, not a person. Why we bother about others' targets and efficiency. Let us follow our own paths
Exactly no 2 persons have the same caliber, ability and time at his/her disposal. One can do wonders within short span while other can not do enough in more time. Besides every one has his/her own interests.
