Those who live in south might don't know that Roti and Chapati are same,as they usually don't eat roti.
Something which is made from Maida is Bhature,which is ate with Chole.
Batura/is made from maida and poori from wheat...both fried in oil.
what about rumal roti...it is made from Maida....also naan.
But about other rotis no idea.
I think, roti is prepared by placing it in flame directly after preparing chappathi.

Rumal roti is made from maida.....
I am a South Indian. So, north Indian can answer it better :unsure:
No both of them can be made of Maida or flour, mixed flour etc. But Chapati basically is Punjabi word.

I like chapati.. Usually i will take chapati for supper and rice for lunch.. Taking chapathi or roti once in a day will be good for health..

No one live without have a variation in their diet i too have a variation in my diet.But mostly depends on the rice and chapati.

I am fortunate to have mixed diet. Like I live in Bangalore mostly so I can eat any thing from NEWS.

Not 3 times.. Two times in a day. Lunch and dinner.. I don't used to take breakfast or any other snack in a day...
Yes sometimes I get bored and that day we have some special thing...
You should never quit breakfast. It will really affect your health and work
I know that.. I am not taking breakfast from starting.. I haven't habit of it... Its not like I suddenly left it. Still it can effect???
About Roti and Chapati... It look like everybody having different answers... :laugh:

They are both same but in south they call parntha chapati so the confusion.

I will take rice in my daily diet but heavy oil is taken in our curries which is more harm to heart.

I just had stuffed paranthas, we are planning to have idli in lunch today.
