Storms- actual or figurative are disturbing and upset our lives. However, these are events beyond our control Everything has a positive side. It depends on us to make best of what happens. In this connection, I may refer to Jail life of Pt Nehru in British Rule and L.K. Adwani during emergency. These events were storm in their lives but they made best of these and wrote good books while in jail.

I have never seen the good effect of storms. I like rain and blowing of cold wind or breeze. I hate cyclones and storms.

Storms definitely disturb and upset. Sudden calamities in life are also storms. These disturb but are unavoidable. So, we may view these positively. These make us stronger.
