Railway stations to get medical rooms, 24x7 ambulances

It's not only loss of assets in mindless violence, Indian Railways is hardly left with any funds after paying its staff to undertake any major expansion or repair/replacement programme!It's roughly to the tune of 90%!

that is intersting to hear...some years back...o heard that railways was running in profit....

Deepak you are right it was in lalu prasad yadavs time he taken railways in to more profits.

then how come the railways is now in loss.i think mamatha bannerjee had the responsibility of railways ...[not now]

Yes she is reponsible for this after lalu mamata has taken incharge of railways but now it was in loss.

this isvery good thing to start up in a indian railway this can improve the quality and maintaince of indian railways.

I hope it will be useful for everybody. But it should be in good condition .

In many cases this are helpfull for emergency cases this is good decision by them.
