In India resources are not in same manner as in other countries.

as everyone has mentioned it is the weakest scheme and there are reasons for it but worst thing is central govt employees are not eligible for pension. i don't remember the exact year after which those who have joined govt jobs are not eligible for pension but i think it was around 2007

as gulshanji has pointed out ..they are not eligible for pension from the government...pension fund pays them...

Actually I agree with deepak, In India pension plan is too weak.The amount they give as pension is also too less
